Unluol Ertunc Pasha (14 July 1877-2 September 1920) was a diplomat of the Ottoman Empire who was assassinated in Operation Nemesis.
Biography[]
Unluol Ertunc Pasha was born on 14 July 1877 in Golbasi, Ottoman Empire to a Sunni Muslim family of Turks. He became a diplomat after graduating from a university in Constantinople, and he was sent to an Ottoman embassy in the German Empire in Munich. On 2 September 1920, he was shot three times by Hrayr Kezerian as he left his office while in exile after the end of World War I; his death was a part of Operation Nemesis.
