The Union of Socialist and Communist Parties (USCP) was a centrist political party that was founded in Symbionisia in August 2016. The party was traditionally self-described as a "centrist party of the left", combining communism, socialism, social democracy, and liberalism as its platforms; however, the party moved towards liberalism and centrism after several reforms encouraging economic growth through both privatization and state funding. The policy of forming State-run enterprises was implemented by the USCP with the goal of creating a state capitalist nation, and the USCP also supports green politics and civil rights.

The USCP was founded to unite the Symbionisian Communist Party, the Symbionisian Social Democratic Party, and the Party of the Anarchist Revolution with smaller leftist parties and organizations, including labor unions. The USCP was elected into power peacefully in June 2016, and the party became the sole political power in Symbionisia. The USCP was known for its hostility to big businesses and corporations, and the party supported the nationalization and taxation of big businesses. In addition, the USCP passed a variety of reforms that would become known as the "Symbionisian Revolution". The USCP would become more moderate as the SSDP grew in power within the USCP, and it relaxed laws on compulsory military service and on a unicameral legislature. The USCP ceased to be communist and socialist, favoring social democratic nationalism. On 25 September 2016, the party privatized beaches, airport security, and bee farms, and the government also paid for buskers to play on the streets, increasing the economy to a reasonable level. However, the USCP lost its leftist views, and it became more of a centrist party.

On 23 October 2016, after divides within the USCP due to its liberalization policies, the USCP was dissolved and replaced by the new Symbionisian Democratic Workers' Front (SDWF), which had a reformist ideology. The USCP's reformist wing joined the SDWF, and many of the former USCP members decided to either join the SDWF or form the Leftist Allegiance party.
