The Union of Democrats for the Republic (UDR) was a Gaullist political party in France that was active from 1967 to 1976. The party was the successor of the Union for the New Republic and some allied Christian democratic groups, and it served as a right-wing alliance. Under Charles de Gaulle's successor Georges Pompidou, it promoted the Gaullist movement, and it was succeeded by Rally for the Republic in 1976.
