
Umm Ruman (died 628) was a wife of Abu Bakr and the mother of Aisha, the wife of Muhammad.
Biography[]
Umm Ruman Zaynab bint Amir was the daughter of Amir ibn Umaymir, and she belonged to the al-Harith tribe of the Kinanah. Her first husband was al-Harith ibn Sahkbara, and their son was Tufail ibn Abdullah; when her husband died, she remarried to Abu Bakr. She immigrated to Medina in 622, and she died in 628.
