Ular Boys

The Ular Boys was a nationalist paramilitary group in the island country of Panau that aimed to expel all foreigners and foreign influence from the islands and restore the indigenous Ulars to power. The group was composed of young Ular men who became disenfranchised by the government due to the discriminatory actions committed against the Ular people. As a result, the Ular Boys were created in the mid 2000's in order to return the temples and Ular villages to their rightful place of leadership. They made their base at the Ular Temple off the coast of the Panau Tengah Bay.

However, ultranationalist Sri Irawan grew in power among the Ular Boys, eventually being elected as the group's leader. He enforced Spartanist ideologies mixed with ancient tribal traditions, such as mounting its enemies' heads on pikes and eating their foes. Irawan also gave permission to distribute hallucinogenic drugs to induce them to extreme violence against Panauan government officials and soldiers, with the Ular Boys notoriously utilizing tribal weaponry to brutalize Panauan Army soldiers in the 2010 Panauan Civil War. Japanese Self Defense Force general Masayo Washio established contact with the Ular Boys, backing their organization with funds and equipment. CIA agent Rico Rodriguez under the cover of mercenary Scorpio reluctantly assisted the Ulars with whatever tasks they gave him.

After the war, the Ular Boys became an ultranationalist party under the new US-backed government, with most of their heinous crimes swept under the rug.
