USS Narwhal was a US Navy submarine in service from 1967 to 1999. The submarine was built at Groton, Connecticut, laid down on 17 January 1966, launched on 9 September 1967, and commissioned on 12 July 1969. The Narwhal was deployed to the Arctic to shadow Soviet vessels, and she was deactivated at Norfolk in 1999 and scrapped in 2020.
