Turnham Green is a public park in Chiswick, London, England. It was initially a village on the main road to the City of London during the Middle Ages, and it was known as Turneham by 1235. On 13 November 1642, during the English Civil War, the village was the site of the indecisive Battle of Turnham Green, which halted King Charles I of England's march on London. In 2011, Turnham Green had 11,448 residents.
