Tuns By West was a village in medieval Norway, located to the west of Tunsberg in southern Norway. By 868, it was a flourishing village whose fields and orchards were humming with activity, and its cropland and pastureland produced filled sacks of grain and drying meat. Its leader at the time was Herstein Blannsson.
