Vito "Tuddy" Cicero (1928-1988) was a member of the Lucchese crime family and the younger brother of Paul Cicero.
Biography[]
Vito Cicero was born in New York City, New York in 1928, the younger brother of Paul Cicero. The two of them became high-ranking members of the Lucchese crime family, and Cicero became the owner of a cab stand and the La Bella Vista pizzeria in East New York, Brooklyn. In 1955, Cicero recruited a young Henry Hill into the family after threatening a mailman into ceasing to deliver reports on Hill's truancy to his family. Cicero employed Hill as a valet and as one of his associates; Hill held an umbrella over Cicero when it rained, and he worked at his pizzeria with him. He would later execute Hill's friend Tommy DeVito in 1978 in retribution for DeVito's murder of Billy Batts at a bar. Cicero died in 1988, the same year as his older brother.
