Tsunemasa Yuki (5 June 1911 – 15 September 1944) was a Major of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. Yuki was killed in action in the Battle of Peleliu.
Biography[]
Tsunemasa Yuki was born on 5 June 1911 in Shinano Prefecture of Japan and enlisted in the Imperial Japanese Army in 1933 and fought in the conquest of Manchuria from the Republic of China. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, he took part in heavy fighting in Shanghai against the Chinese, and in 1941 he took part in the occupation of Peleliu. He was killed in a United States artillery bombardment during the Battle of Peleliu in 1944.
