Trudovoygorod

Trudovoygorod was a planned city that was built in Kursk Oblast, Russian SFSR in 1980. Named "Labor City", the settlement was intended to be an industrial center, with over a dozen prefabricated flats being erected and an equal number of factories being established. A CPSU headquarters was also built in the city, as were a secret police headquarters, a hospital, an orphanage, several museums and sports grounds, and communist monuments. By 2 March 1980, Trudovoygorod had a population of 7,548 people, of whom 59% were loyal to the Communist Party and 34% of whom were religious. The average age was 24.14, with an average lifespan of 81.22.
