
Tristam Burges (26 February 1770-13 October 1853) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-RI AL) from 4 March 1825 to 3 March 1835, succeeding Samuel Eddy and preceding William Sprague III. Born in Rochester, Massachusetts, he practiced law in Providence before serving in the State Assembly in 1811, on the state supreme court, and in Congress.
