Treaty of Troyes

The Treaty of Troyes was a 21 May 1420 agreement between England and France. King Charles VI of France agreed that King Henry V of England and his heirs would inherit the French crown upon his death, and he also agreed to Henry's marriage to his daughter, Catherine of Valois. However, the treaty was undermined with the deaths of Henry and Charles within months of each other in 1422.
