The Tour Saint-Jacques is a monument located in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, France. The 171-foot-tall tower was built as part of the Church of Saint-Jacques-de-la-Boucherie, the starting point for the religious pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Nicolas Flamel, the patron of the building, was buried under the floor of the church following his death in the 15th century. The flamboyant tower was built during the reign of King Francis I of France, and the rest of the church was torn down in 1797 during the French Revolution.
