
Torris Knudsen (1982-2007) was a corporal of the US Marine Corps.
Biography[]
Torris Knudsen was born in 1982 in Fargo, North Dakota to a family of Norwegian descent. Knudsen enlisted in the US Marine Corps during Operation Enduring Freedom, and he served numerous tours of duty in the Iraq War. In 2007, he fought in Operation Kennesaw Storm in Iraqi Kurdistan against insurgents that occupied a hill from the Kurdish allies of the United States, and he was killed in the battle with Ansar al-Sharia. He was awarded the Bronze Star for valor.
