Thomas “Tommy” Marcano (17 April 1924 - 20 September 1968) was a caporegime of the Marcano crime family in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Biography[]
Tommy Marcano was born in Baton Rogue, Louisiana on April 17th 1924. Tommy is the youngest brother of Sal Marcano, don of the Marcano crime family in New Orleans, Louisiana, as well as caporegimes Lou Marcano and Lucio Marcano. Marcano decided against going to college and becoming a lawyer, as he wanted to work with his brothers as a mafioso. He was put in charge of the family's casinos and rackets in Havana, Cuba, with Frank Pagani helping him with learning the ropes. In 1959, Pagani helped him in escaping from Havana during the Cuban Revolution, and Marcano returned to New Orleans to run some rackets in Tickfaw Harbor.

Marcano in 1968
In 1968, Mafia enemy Lincoln Clay hunted down the Marcano family's rackets, killing Pagani and several racket bosses. Marcano succeeded in capturing Lincoln when he launched an attack on his gym in Southdowns, and he doused him in gasoline and prepared to burn him. However, Lincoln cut himself free while Marcano was monologuing, and Lincoln shot the men around Marcano. He proceeded to tie Marcano to the chair and douse him in gasoline; Marcano told Lincoln that it was no way to die, but Lincoln told him that his brothers would soon arrive in Hell to keep him company. Lincoln then threw a lit match at the floor, killing Marcano.
