Tom Emmer (born 3 March 1961) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-MN 6) from 3 January 2015, succeeding Michele Bachmann.
Biography[]
Tom Emmer was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1961, and he was a member of the Independence and Delano city councils before serving in the State House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011. In 2014, he was elected to the US House of Representatives as a Republican Party member, and he held right-wing populist views as a member of the Tea Party movement.
