Tom Cole (28 April 1949-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-OK 4) from 3 January 2003, succeeding J.C. Watts.
Biography[]
Tom Cole was born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1949, and he worked as a college history professor before entering politics as a Republican Party member. He served in the Oklahoma State Senate from 1988 to 1991, as Secretary of State of Oklahoma from 1995 to 1999, and in the US House of Representatives from 2003. He was a staunchly conservative member of the US Congress, defending Paul Ryan's conservatism and supporting Donald Trump's Muslim ban.
