
Thomas Felix Bolack (18 May 1918-20 May 1998) was the Republican Governor of New Mexico from 30 November 1962 to 1 January 1963, succeeding Edwin L. Mechem and preceding Jack M. Campbell.
Biography[]
Thomas Felix Bolack was born in Cowley County, Kansas in 1918, and he became involved in the New Mexico oil industry and Republican Party. He served as Mayor of Farmington from 1952 to 1954, in the State House from 1956 to 1958, as Lieutenant Governor from 1961 to 1962 (the first Republican to hold that position since 1928), and Governor for 32 days from 1962 to 1963, succeeding Edwin L. Mechem, who resigned after losing re-election. He died in Farmington in 1998.
