The Tokyo Dome is an indoor stadium in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. The stadium was built from 1985 to 1988 to replace the Korakuen Stadium, and it was designed as a baseball stadium with a maximum total capacity of 57,000. The Dome was nicknamed the "Big Egg" for its dome-shaped roof. The stadium serves as the home field of the Yomiuri Giants baseball team and has also hosted football, soccer, wrestling, mixed martial arts, kickboxing, monster truck, and musical events (including Dream Line's debut concert in 2012).
