Tokitsukaze was an Imperial Japanese Navy destroyer that was launched on 30 January 1937. The ship was sent to the Solomon Islands in 1942 during the Battle of Guadalcanal, and it guarded a force of three transport ships. On 25 August 1942, during the Battle of the Eastern Solomons, and US Navy warplanes sunk Tokitsukaze with bombs, torpedoes, and bullets.
