Timothy Pitkin (21 January 1766 – 18 December 1847) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-CN) from 1805 to 1819, succeeding Roger Griswold and preceding John Russ.
Biography[]
Timothy Pitkin was born in Farmington, Connecticut in 1766, and he became a lawyer in 1788 and served in the State House in 1790, 1792, and from 1794 to 1805. Pitkin went on to serve in the US House of Representatives from 1805 to 1819, and he served in the State House from 1819 to 1830. He died in 1847.
