
Timariota Munawwar of Awas (born 1241) was the timariota of Awas with Timariot Bashar of Awas.
Biography[]
Munawwar was born in 1241 to a lowborn family of Druze Muslim Levantines in Druz (present-day Syria) in the Qutuzid Sultanate. She married Timariot Bashar of Awas, and she became the timariota. Munawwar and her son Wahid ibn Bashar were captured by the Ilkhanate army of Teguder Khan when it besieged Awas in 1266, and both were ransomed.
