Timariota Hasti of Al-Sanamayn (26 April 1243 – 10 August 1260) was the wife of Timariot Eldecyuk of Al-Sanamayn.
Biography[]
Hasti was born on 26 April 1243 to a lowborn family of Sunni Muslim Levantines. She married Timariot Eldecyuk of Al-Sanamayn, a nobleman of the Qutuzid Sultanate who ruled al-Sanamayn in present-day Syria. Hasti was captured when Hulegu Khan captured al-Sanamayn, and she was executed to promote fear in the Egyptian ranks. Hasti was Eldecyuk's only wife, and her death was a blow to his morale.
