
Timariot Eldecyuk of Al-Sanamayn (1223-) was a noble of the Qutuzid Sultanate.
Biography[]
Eldecyuk was born in 1223 to the Eldecyukids, a dynasty of Sunni Muslim Cumans. He became the timariot of al-Sanamayn in Syria, and he married Hasti, a Levantine woman. In 1260, Hulegu Khan of the Ilkhanate besieged al-Sanamayn and stormed the city. Hasti was captured, and she was executed to strike fear into the Qutuzids, including Eldecyuk; she was his only wife.
