Tim Huelskamp

Tim Huelskamp (11 November 1968-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-KS 1) from 3 January 2011 to 3 January 2017, succeeding Jerry Moran and preceding Roger Marshall.

Biography[]

Tim Huelskamp was born in Fowler, Kansas in 1968, and he was a farmer before serving in the State Senate from 1997 to 2011 and in the US House of Representatives from 2011 to 2017. Huelskamp was the least bipartisan member of the US Congress, and he was known for his social conservatism and for chairing the Tea Party caucus from 2015 to 2017. He left office in 2017 after being defeated in the primary by Roger Marshall.
