Anthime "Tim" Gionet (born 16 November 1987), better known as Baked Alaska, was an American alt-right political activist and internet celebrity.
Biography[]
Anthime Gionet was born in Anchorage, Alaska on 16 November 1987, and he graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. Alaska worked for Warner Bros. Records, Capital Records, the Warped Tour, and for BuzzFeed, and he later became an alt-right supporter; he briefly worked with Milo Yiannopoulos and created pro-Donald Trump music and videos. He gave speeches and participated in numerous Trump rallies, and he received Trump's signature on his arm. During the August 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, he was shot in the face with Mace pepper spray, and he had his followers live stream him bawling on the ground after getting maced. On 21 March 2019, he released a video in which he condemned the alt-right, disavowed his earlier support for Trump, and promoted 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang. In November 2019, he again changed his views, deleting his apology videos and taking part in white supremacist trolling against rallies held by Turning Point USA members. He also participated in the storming of the US Capitol on 6 January 2021 amid the 2021 United States coup d'etat attempt. He was arrested in Houston on 16 January 2021.
