Tidferth the Tall (832-) was an Anglo-Saxon thegn who lived in Cantwara Ham North, Kent during the late 9th century AD. He was in the service of King Aethelred of Wessex amid the Viking invasions of England, and he managed a small farming village and also travelled throughout southern England in 868 AD, visiting Canterbury, Winchester, Woking, and Dorchester on Thames, among other places.
