Ticahuino (1504-1542) was a Carib warrior who lived on the island of Cibay in the Bahamas during the mid-16th century. In 1542, he was shot dead by the Spanish explorer Guillen de Palma while guarding his stash of cassavas, which De Palma proceeded to take for his colony.
