The Thule Society was a German voelkisch and occultist society based in Munich, southern Germany from 1918 to before 1930. The society sponsored the Nazi Party due to shared beliefs in German nationalism, and several Nazi leaders would be Thule members, including Rudolf Hess, Alfred Rosenberg, Hans Frank, Julius Lehmann, Gottfried Feder, Dietrich Eckart, and Karl Harrer. The society was known for its opposition to Judaism and communism, and it dissolved prior to 1930, with many members joining the Nazis.
