Biography[]
Thorismund was born in 431, the son of the Visigothic king Theodoric I. He fought at the Battle of the Catalaunian Plains in 451, leading a decisive charge from a hilltop to rout the Huns, who had killed his father and nearly defeated the Romans and Goths.
