Thordr the Goldsmith (4 October 829-2 January 875) was a Norse goldsmith who was employed by King Hastein of Brittany in December 874. He arrived at Vannes on 9 December 874 and was commissioned to prepare a fine set of jewelry for the wealthy Viking lord, but, on 2 January 875, he was caught having sex with the King's concubine Thora af Skalholt at his forge. Hastein proceeded to have Thordr executed, although he spared his concubine, as she had just given birth to a son, Rold Haesteinnsson.
