Thor

Thor was, in Norse mythology, the god of thunder, lightning, storms, sacred groves and trees, strength, the protection of mankind, hallowing, and fertility. The son of Odin and Jord, the stepson of Frigg, the adoptive brother of Loki, the brother of Baldr, and the husband of Sif, he was best-known for wielding the mountain-crushing hammer Mjolnir, for his relentless slaughter of foes, and for his fierce battles with the serpent Jormungandr. He was mostly worshipped by farmers who appreciated his simple honesty and his revulsion of evil, while his father Odin was worshipped mostly by Viking raiders. During Ragnarok, he killed Loki's spawn Jormungandr before dying in the ensuing struggle with the forces of evil.
