Thomas T. Crittenden Jr.

Thomas Theodore Crittenden Jr. (23 December 1863-31 July 1938) was the Democratic Mayor of Kansas City from 1907 to 1910, succeeding Henry M. Beardsley and preceding Darius A. Brown.

Biography[]

Thomas Theodore Crittenden Jr. was born in Springfield, Illinois in 1863, the son of Governor Thomas Theodore Crittenden, and he was raised in Warrensburg, Missouri and moved to Kansas City in 1884. He worked as a realtor and as a Court of Appeals clerk before serving as Mayor from 1907 to 1910, and he died in 1938.
