
Thomas Rothmaler Mitchell (May 1783-2 November 1837) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-SC 3) from 4 March 1821 to 3 March 1823 (succeeding James Ervin and preceding Robert B. Campbell), from 4 March 1825 to 3 March 1829 (succeeding Robert Campbell and preceding John Campbell), and from 4 March 1831 to 3 March 1833 (succeeding John Campbell and preceding Thomas D. Singleton). Born in Georgetown, he practiced law before entering politics.
