
Thomas Moore (1759-11 July 1822) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-SC 6) from 4 March 1801 to 3 March 1803 (succeeding Abraham Nott and preceding Levi Casey), from SC-7 from 4 March 1803 to 3 March 1813 (preceding Elias Earle), and from SC-8 from 4 March 1815 to 3 March 1817 (succeeding Samuel Farrow and preceding Wilson Nesbitt).
Biography[]
Thomas Moore was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1759, and he served in the American Revolutionary War and fought at the Battle of Cowpens. Moore went on to serve in the State House from 1794 to 1799 and in the US House of Representatives from 1801 to 1813 and from 1815 to 1817, and he died in 1822.
