
Thomas McKey Edwards (16 December 1795-1 May 1875) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-NH 3) from 4 March 1859 to 3 March 1863, succeeding Aaron H. Cragin and preceding James W. Patterson.
Biography[]
Thomas McKey Edwards was born in Keene, New Hampshire in 1795, and he became a lawyer in 1817. He served as Postmaster of Keene from 1818 to 1829, in the State House in 1834, 1836, 1838, and 1839, President of the Ashuelot National Bank from 1853 to 1859, in the US House of Representatives from 1859 to 1863, and the Ashuelot National Bank's president once more from 1863 until his death in 1875.
