Thomas Lancaster (1744-1799) was an English-American surgeon and the only medic of the small village of Sleepy Hollow.
Biography[]
Thomas Lancaster was born in Albany in 1744. He moved to Sleepy Hollow in 1788, where he became the the town's doctor. He was one of the most notorious neighbours of the village alongside with Peter Van Garret, Baltus Van Tassel, James Hardenbrook, Samuel Philipse and the reverend. In 1799, he was one of the main victims of the Headless Horseman, he was killed by Reverend Steenwick while the church was supposedly under attack.
