
Thomas Sherwood Haymond (15 January 1794-5 April 1869) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-VA 15) from 8 November 1849 to 4 March 1851, succeeding Alexander Newman and preceding George W. Thompson. Born in Fairmont, West Virginia, he served in the War of 1812, as a lawyer in Morgantown, in Congress, and as a colonel of the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War.
