
Thomas Edward Fraser (6 February 1901-15 November 1942) was a US Navy officer who commanded USS Walke during World War II.
Biography[]
Thomas Edward Fraser was born in Stafford Springs, Connecticut on 6 February 1901, and he graduated from the Naval Academy in 1924. On 10 November 1941, he became commander of USS Walke, and he became a commander on 20 August 1942. On the night of 14-15 November 1942, he was killed in action during the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal, during which the Walke was lost.
