Thomas Burrage Cooke (21 November 1778 – 20 November 1853) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-NY 5) from 4 March 1811 to 4 March 1813, succeeding Barent Gardenier and preceding Thomas P. Grosvenor.

Biography[]

Thomas Burrage Cooke was born in Wallingford, Connecticut in 1778, and he settled in Catskill, New York in 1802 and became a merchant. He served in the US House of Representatives from 1811 to 1813 before becoming President of Catskill National Bank in 1813, a justice of the peace in 1818, and a water freight and railroad businessman. He last served in the State Assembly from 1838 to 1839, and he died in 1853.
