Biography[]
Theseus Mallakis was born in Euhemeria, Ptolemaic Egypt in 92 BC, and he became a wealthy food merchant under Nomarch Berenike's regime. He lived in an opulent villa, and, by 48 BC, he had masterminded a plot to become even wealthier. He gave rancid vegetables to the Egyptian slum dwellers and coated the vegetables with seasoning to conceal their rot; this caused a pestilence which killed several slum dwellers and thus opened the way for him and the Greek elite to take over their farms. The medjay Bayek and the healer Nane Anouke eventually uncovered the plot after investigating Theseus' kitchen, only for Theseus to show up with two guards. Theseus initially tried to plead his innocence, but when Bayek revealed that he was aware of Theseus' plot after inspecting the kitchen, Theseus changed his mind and sent his guards to attack him. Bayek slew Theseus and his guards, ending their plot.
