Theodore Ruiz (1897-1959) was a caporegime of the Granados crime family.

Biography[]

Theodore Ruiz was born in Mexico in 1897, and he served in World War II. He took barbiturates to cope with his depression following the war's end, and he soon became an addict. He also became a member of the Granados crime family, becoming a caporegime; his family gave him a steady supply of drugs, sharpening his aim. In 1959, he was sent to reinforce Berry's Pawnbrokers in Miami when it came under attack from Trapani crime family boss Dominic Corleone, and Corleone beat him to death with a nightstick.
