Theo Turenne (1669-17) was Secretary of War for the 1709 Republic from 1709 to 1713, and was a bon vivant, agrarian, frugal, thrifty, and a jug head. He was an extremely useful minister, with high skills. Following the fall of the Republic in 1713, he was found guilty of treason and sentenced to death.
