"The Truth" (23 February 1925 - went missing 16 August 2004) was an American hippie and a cannabis farmer from Flint County, California.
Biography[]
The man known as "The Truth" was theorized to have been born around February 23rd, 1925. He was the archetypal hippie during the counterculture era of the 1960s, as he decided to use 15-year-old cooking oil to power his van (called "the Mothership"), the engine of which was held together by a macramé hammock. He also had an astral goat named Herbie that he rode, and he stopped driving in 1977. The Truth opened his own cannabis farm in Leafy Hollow in southern California's Flint County, and he grew his own drugs in addition to having imported opium, acid, and other Asian drugs. In 1989, he attended the San Francisco love-in, and he continued with his hippie lifestyle for the rest of his life.
In 1992, he was contacted by C.R.A.S.H. officer Frank Tenpenny, who needed him to supply him with two tons of marijuana to destroy a District Attorney's credibility in a corruption case against him. The Truth had Tenpenny's errand boy Carl Johnson steal a combine harvester for him before having him torch his farm to prevent the police from finding it, and the two of them headed to Johnson's garage in San Francisco. He helped Johnson in making contact with mechanics Dwaine Harvey and Jethro Rampton and the technology genius "Zero", and The Truth had CJ steal from the government while he was encamped in the desert of Nevada. In November 1992, he congratulated CJ for "beating the system" during the Los Angeles Riots, his last known contact with him - it's commonly believed by some that he died around this time, but it's unconfirmed.
