The Triangle Club shootout occurred on one evening in 21st May 2008 when Dwayne Forge's hitman Niko Bellic engaged in a shootout with several Spanish Lords gangsters at The Triangle Club in Co-op City, The Bronx, New York City. Bellic had the goal of murdering the owners of the club, Javier, Jesus, and Jose Trunchez, and he succeeded in killing Javier and Jose in the club before chasing down and murdering Jesus Trunchez. The shootout resulted in Dwayne Forge returning to owning the Triangle Club, and the shootout led to the permanent split between Forge and his former pupil Playboy X, as Playboy had given the club to the Spanish Lords gangsters; the shootout ruined Playboy's business and led to him seeking to kill Forge.
