The Rippers were a rogue criminal street gang active in London during the late 19th century in the 1880s, at the height of the Whitechapel Murders, but at some point in 1888 prior to the Autumn of Terror, the Rippers were led by a former initiate, who would soon become known as the infamous Jack the Ripper took the gang and renamed them as the Rippers, usurped control of the Rooks from Jacob Frye though fear and intimation.
History[]
Years later when Jack went rogue, he had already gained the support of some of London's most dangerous men. He took over the command of Jacob's Rooks. Together, they managed to recruit or kill anyone who resisted Jack's power play. Jack trained them to be more effective against the London Assassins.
