The People of Freedom (PdL) was an Italian liberal-conservative party that existed from 2007 to 2013. The party was launched by Silvio Berlusconi, uniting parties such as his conservative Forza Italia party and the nationalist National Alliance of Italy. From 2008 to 2011, the party formed the government of Italy alongside Lega Nord, and the party's national council voted to dissolve it in 2013 and replace it with a revived Forza Italia party.
