The Mall was a road in colonial Boston, Massachusetts that ran through Boston Common parallel to Common Street and Long Acre and between two burial grounds. The Mall was later renamed to the Lafayette Mall in honor of the Marquis de Lafayette, who visited Boston and laid the cornerstone of the Bunker Hill Monument on 17 June 1825.
