Tevfik Pasha (died 25 August 1842) was a general of the Ottoman Empire.
Biography[]
Tevfik Pasha was the commander of the 21,000-strong Army of Arabia of the Ottoman Empire, leading them in the Ottoman Liberation of Egyptian Ankara. His army liberated Syria, Lebanon, and much of the Levant from the Khedivate of Egypt, but he died on 25 August 1842 before the war was over.
